Hey there, I'm Tracy. This is real life, real faith, real God. You're in the right place to get real. Real about life, real about your faith, and real with God. This is your moment to pause, take a deep breath, and stop pretending everything's fine if it isn't. Because God can handle your truth. He's not looking for perfect, he's looking for present. So whether you're feeling strong in your faith or struggling to hold on, you're not alone. Let's meet with him, just as we are right here, right now. Hey friends, welcome back to real life, real faith, real God. I'm Tracy Glass, and today we are continuing our special chapter-by-chapter journey through my book entitled Get Up Girl Let's Go by Tracy Hester. And this book is available on Amazon. And I do want to say that it was written under my previous name. This series is for every woman who feels stuck and is ready to heal, grow, and move forward into the freedom God has for her life. Today we're diving into chapter two, entitled Creating Your Life Map. This chapter is all about understanding how your experiences, relationships, disappointments, wounds, and defining moments shape the woman you are today. Sometimes we don't realize how much our past is still influencing how we think, how we love, how we trust, how we respond to pain, and even how we see ourselves. But healing often begins when we stop long enough to honestly look at our story through God's eyes instead of through shame, regret, or fear. And my prayer today is that as we walk through this chapter together, God will bring clarity, healing, self-awareness, and freedom to every woman listening. So grab your journal, take a deep breath, and let's continue this journey together. Get up, girl, let's go. Sometimes we cannot move forward until we understand how we got where we are. Many women are frustrated emotionally and spiritually, but they've never stopped long enough to ask what shaped me. What experiences shape the way I think? What wounds shape the way I trust? What disappointments shape the way I see myself and what moments cause me to stop dreaming? What seasons cause me to lose confidence? A life map is simply taking intentional time to trace your journey, not to stay stuck in the past, but to uncover patterns, wounds, and moments that shaped your story. And honestly, some of us have been surviving for so long that we've never really processed what we've been through. We've just kept moving, we've kept functioning, kept raising kids, kept working, kept serving, and kept surviving. But survival mode and healing are not the same thing. In chapter two, I talk about creating a life map to help bring clarity and self-awareness. And friend, clarity matters because confusion keeps many women stuck. Sometimes women say, I don't even know what I want anymore. I don't know who I am anymore. I don't know why I react the way I do. And I don't know why I keep repeating the same patterns. And often the answer is connected to unresolved places in our story. That's why I encourage women to actually map out important events in their lives: the joyful moments, the painful moments, the disappointing moments, and the defining moments. Not because we want to relive pain, but because we want to uncover truth. Sometimes when you slow down and look at your story, you begin noticing things that you never saw before. You realize that relationship changed me. That rejection wounded me. That season taught me fear. That betrayal affected my confidence. That disappointment caused me to stop trusting people. That painful season made me hide. And sometimes we discover something even deeper. We left pieces of ourselves behind in painful seasons. Maybe you left behind your confidence, your joy, your voice, your trust, your identity, and even your dreams. Well, friend, I believe God wants to restore the pieces of you that life tried to bury. One of the most beautiful things about creating a life map is that you begin seeing not only your pain, but God's protection. Yes, there were difficult seasons, but there were also moments where God carried you and protected you, even when you didn't realize it at the time. Looking back helps you realize that God was there, God sustained you, God kept you, God covered you even in seasons where you felt abandoned. One of my favorite scriptures in this chapter is Jeremiah 29, 11. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future. I know some of you listening today have been asking, God, what happened to my future? What happened to my dreams? What happened to the woman I used to be? But hear me, God's plans for your life did not disappear because of pain. And maybe today God is inviting you to stop running from your story and start allowing him to heal it. Not erase it, but heal it. Because heal pain becomes wisdom. Heal pain becomes compassion. Heal pain becomes your testimony. And heal pain can even become your ministry. And maybe what once almost destroyed you will one day help set somebody else free. So before we close today, I want you to ask yourself what moments in my story shaped who I became? Take some time this week to journal, pray, reflect, and ask God to reveal the places that still need healing. Let's pray. Father, thank you for every woman listening today. Thank you that you were present in every season of her life, even the painful ones. Help her look at her story through your eyes instead of through shame, fear, or regret. Bring healing to the places where she became wounded. Restore the parts of her identity that life tried to steal. And remind her that you still have hope and a future for her. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen. Friend, thank you so much for joining me today on Real Life, Real Faith, Real God. My prayer is that today's episode encourages you to slow down, reflect on your story, and begin allowing God to reveal the places that still need healing. Remember, your past is not meant to shame you. It's meant to reveal how faithful God has been even through the hardest seasons of your life. And sometimes clarity is the first step toward freedom. If today's episode encouraged you, would you share it with another woman who may need help, healing, and encouragement right now? And don't forget to grab your copy of Get Up Girl Let's Go by Tracy Hester, available now on Amazon. In our next episode, we're continuing chapter two as we talk about contradictions, painful seasons, and how God can even use the hardest parts of our story to mature and strengthen us spiritually. Until next time, remember, God still has hope and a future for you. Get up, girl, let's go. Thanks for taking a few moments to meet with God today. I pray this moment reminded you that you're not alone, you're not forgotten, and you don't have to carry it on. Whatever real looks like for you right now, there is a real faith and a real God walking with you in. Until next time, keep showing up, keep being honest, and keep trusting the one who never lets you.
