Hey there, I'm Tracy. This is real life, real faith, real God. You're in the right place to get real. Real about life, real about your faith, and real with God. This is your moment to pause, take a deep breath, and stop pretending everything's fine if it isn't. Because God can handle your truth. He's not looking for perfect. He's looking for present. So whether you're feeling strong in your faith or struggling to hold on, you're not alone. Let's meet with him, just as we are right here, right now. Hey friends, welcome back to real life, real faith, real God. I'm Tracy Glass, and today we're going to begin a very special new series, walking chapter by chapter through my book, Get Up Girl, Let's Go by Tracy Hester. It's available on Amazon, and yes, it was written under my previous name. This series is especially for the woman who feels stuck. Maybe you feel stuck emotionally, stuck spiritually, stuck in fear, stuck in disappointment, stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns, or maybe you've been carrying shame, grief, heartbreak, or emotional pain for so long that freedom feels too far away. Well, I want you to know something today. You're not alone. Each episode in this series will focus on one chapter from the book. And together we're going to unpack the emotional, spiritual, and practical steps that help us heal, grow, and move forward. And I would absolutely love for you to track along with me throughout this journey. You can head over to Amazon and grab your copy of Get Up Girl, Let's Go by Tracy Hester. I believe this journey will encourage you, challenge you, stretch you, and remind you that freedom is possible through Jesus Christ. So today we're beginning with chapter one, unlocking where the stuck started. A few years ago, I visited the La Brea tarpets in California, and I became fascinated by how animals became trapped there thousands of years ago. What looked safe from a distance was actually dangerous underneath. And honestly, that's how life can feel sometimes. What we thought would fulfill us actually trapped us. What we thought would heal us really hurt us. What we thought would last forever eventually fell apart. And before we know it, we're emotionally stuck in places we never planned to be. Sometimes we enter relationships believing this person will finally love me the right way. Sometimes we chase success thinking, when I finally achieve this, then I'll feel valuable. Sometimes we stay silent because we're afraid of rejection. And slowly, little by little, we find ourselves emotionally exhausted, spiritually drained, and wondering, how did I get here? One of the hardest parts of being stuck is this. After a while, stuck can start feeling normal. We adapt to dysfunction, we normalize our pain, we hide our wounds, and we become experts at pretending. But we still show up, we're still smiling, we're still serving, and we still encourage everybody else. Meanwhile, inside, we're sinking. And maybe somebody listening today understands exactly what I mean. Maybe you've mastered looking fine while quietly struggling. Maybe no one even knows how heavy things have become for you emotionally. Maybe you've spent years carrying disappointment, rejection, grief, betrayal, or fear. And what's dangerous is when pain becomes so familiar that we stop believing freedom is possible. But friend, I want to remind you, pits are not permanent. Psalms 40 says, He brought me out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock. I love that scripture because God doesn't abandon us in the pit. And I think sometimes we underestimate how much God cares about the emotional places where we are hurting. He sees the hidden tears, the silent battles, the panic attacks, the loneliness, the overthinking, the fear, the exhaustion from trying to hold everything together. He sees all of it. One of the things my mother used to say to me during difficult seasons was girl, you can stay down for a minute, but you're going to have to get up soon. And honestly, that statement carried me through a lot of seasons. Not because she was dismissing my pain, but because she was reminding me that pain was not my permanent address. And maybe that's the loving reminder God wants you to hear today. You may be down, but you're not defeated. You may feel stuck, but you are not forgotten. You may feel overwhelmed, but God still has purpose for your life. Sometimes the first step toward freedom is simply admitting that something in my life is off balance. Not hiding, not pretending, not performing, just honesty. Because healing begins where honesty lives. And maybe today God is gently asking you, where did the stuck start? Was it rejection? Disappointment, abandonment, divorce, fear, trauma, people pleasing, negative relationship patterns, childhood wounds, feeling unseen, feeling unloved. Sometimes we think we're reacting to what happened yesterday. But the truth is we're reacting from wounds that happened years ago. And until we uncover the root, we often repeat the cycle. That's why healing matters. Because unhealed pain has a voice. It affects how we love, how we trust, how we communicate, what we tolerate, what we believe about ourselves, and sometimes even what we believe about God. Many women are carrying invisible chains nobody else can see. But God sees them. And He wants to heal the places you spent years hiding. I think one of the enemy's greatest strategies is convincing women to hide, hide our feelings, hide your struggles, hide your disappointment, hide your questions, hide your pain. But healing happens in safe places where honesty can breathe. Friend, you do not have to carry everything along. And maybe today is your first step. Not fixing everything, not figuring everything out, but simply acknowledging that I'm tired of pretending I'm okay. That kind of honesty opens the door for God to begin healing. So before we close today, I want you to sit with this question. What has been weighing you down emotionally? What have you been carrying that God never intended for you to carry alone? Take that to Him today. Let's pray. Father, thank you that you see every woman listening right now. You know her story, her disappointments, her silent tears, and the places where she feels stuck. Remind her today that pits are not permanent. Give her courage to begin the healing process. Help her stop hiding and start trusting you again. Heal the places she's been afraid to uncover. And remind her that you are still writing her story. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. Thank you so much for spending this time with me today on real life, real faith, real God. My prayer is that today's episode reminded you that being stuck is not the end of your story. God still sees you, He still loves you, and He is still able to pull you out of the pit. If this episode encouraged you, would you do me a favor? Share it with another woman who may need help, encouragement, or healing right now. And I would absolutely love for you to continue this journey with me chapter by chapter through my book, Get Up Girl, Let's Go by Tracy Hester. Available now on Amazon. Again, it's written under my previous name. In our next episode, we're going to go deeper into chapter one as we talk about invisible chains, negative relationship patterns, and the emotional weights that quietly keep us stuck. Until next time, remember this. You may feel down today, but you are not defeated. God is still calling you home. Get up, girl, let's go. Thanks for taking a few moments to meet with God today. I pray this moment reminded you that you're not alone, you're not forgotten, and you don't have to carry it off. Whatever real looks like for you right now, there is a real faith and a real God walking with you in. Until next time, keep showing up, keep being honest, and keep trusting the one who never lets go.
